Summary

Overnight Labels, Inc., is an award-winning full service label and flexible packaging printing company.

The goal for this project was to redesign their out-of-date website and provide visitors with an easy to use, informative and functional resource for their offerings.

In addition to providing a modern website that is fully responsive, the client wanted to allow potential customer to request a free possibilities kit. Use social media more effectively and engage visitors in multiple ways.

NST Web Solutions worked closely with our client to gain insight into their design preferences and their administrative requirements. With this knowledge, our team was able to create a custom solution which has allowed Overnight Labels to grow their web presence.

The Challenge

Choosing the right solution requires a deep understanding of the client’s needs and wants.

• Overnight Labels required an easy to use CMS solution with a custom post type management interface for their product lines.

• Management and integration of social media feeds.

• Integrate with Google for advanced marketing capabilities.

• High-end design with bold graphics.

• Multiple page templates for displaying content innovatively.

• Conditional form development for gathering marketing data.

The Solution

Our web development process began with our design team. We created a layouts which best organized the content as per our client’s objectives. We provided helpful suggestions to further enhance the navigation and overall structure of content.

Our design solution used a combination of the existing color palette and introduced other harmonious colors to complete the branding. We were careful to ensure the design worked well with the Overnight Labels logo.

For this project, we designed custom templates for the home page and product pages. In addition custom post types had designs templates created to display grid layouts based on content requirements.

As our design team worked on creating these templates, our developers began working on the plans to bring the designs to life.

For our client, a custom WordPress solution was selected for ease of use, flexibility, extensive library of add-on functionality and quick learning curve.

Our team “converted” the designs and installed all required functionality.. The remaining supporting features were added and tested to ensure our clients new website would perform above expectations.

After launch, we hosted a 2 hour WordPress training session geared at demonstrating the unique features of the website and how to manage the content within the WordPress admin. Providing a visual training session is one of the many benefits we provide to our clients post-deployment.

Lastly, our clients can rest easy knowing the website is secure and maintained – we provide WordPress Core updates to keep their environment secure, plugin updates and technical support as needed to keep things running smoothly and minimize service disruptions.
